Question: 4.0 upgrade issues

I just recently upgraded my iTouch to 4.0 and noticed that the shape tab has a few items that are not working like they use to the registration of this shape " ═ " does not work with the other corresponding shapes ╔ ╦ ╗ ╠ ╬ ╣ ╚ ╩ ╝ like it use to prior to the new iTouch 4.0 operating system. Can this be fixed? Because I use to create artistic lettering with these shapes and now I can't. Thanks. Stephen
