I can't sign in to my account, what do I do?

You must have an active Twitter account to sign in to Twitter using Feathers.

If you are having trouble signing in to your account, please try the following:

  1. Go to http://twitter.com.
  2. Click on the "Sign in" link.
  3. Enter your username and password.
  4. Click the "Sign in" button.

Did that work?

YES: Try signing in from Feathers again, making sure that you're typing your username and password exactly as you did on the Twitter homepage (it might be that maybe Twitter was down when you tried to sign in or that you misspelled your username or password – it happens!) If you're still having trouble please open a support ticket and make sure that you mention your Twitter username and that you followed these instructions (do not put your password in the support ticket).

NO: Your Twitter username or password is wrong. Try this:

  1. At http://twitter.com, click the "Sign in" link.
  2. Click the "Forgot your password?" link.
  3. On the page that appears, enter your Twitter username or email address in the "Please type your email address or Twitter username below" box and click the "Send instructions" button.

Do you see the following message? "Ok, we've sent the instructions to your email. Go check it!"

YES: Check your email and follow the instructions from Twitter to sign in to your account. Use the same username and password to sign in via Feathers.

NO: If you see this message instead: "Oh, snap! We couldn't find you!" it is possible that you do not have a Twitter account.
